I received my Ph.D. in History of Science (Science Studies) from the University of California, San Diego. Prior to receiving my Ph.D. I received a Master's in American Studies with an emphasis in Museum Studies. I have worked in a variety of museums and interpretive sites. I am currently a part-time lecturer in the Department of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences at the University of WA - Bothell. The courses I teach include: Bioethics, History of Medicine, Atomic Dreams/Atomic Nightmares, and The Science and Medicine of Harry Potter. I also teach and study yoga and am trying to get a better understanding of the science of yoga. I would like to write about history of science, medicine, and technology for the public.
